BOXING

Mindful Boxing is our signature method — a blend of boxing, mindfulness and breathing for ultimate body mind connection, emotional release and fitness.


You’ll sweat, breathe, release, connect and reconnect in a safe space that honours your story and your body.

We don’t push through — we tune in.
Every punch is a release. Every breath, a reset.
We train with the nervous system, not against it.


We use boxing as a tool to be present in our bodies, to process emotions, regulate the nervous system, and reclaim our strength. Both physical and mentally.

This is a trauma-informed, women-only space where strength looks different for everyone. Some days it’s a jab, other days it’s just showing up. Both are enough.

Here, you’re not expected to be more. Just come as you are. Just be yourself.

WHY

Why does it work?

Boxing activates the sympathetic nervous system (fight-or-flight) in a safe and controlled way. It helps release stress hormones, mobilize frozen trauma responses, and express stuck emotions like anger or fear.
 

Mindfulness and breathwork calm the nervous system, regulate stress responses, and help you feel grounded, centered, and connected.

Functional fitness exercises like squats, core work, and push-ups build physical strength and stability — which reinforces a sense of safety in the body. This kind of strength training also supports nervous system resilience by improving circulation, posture, and hormones and energy flow.

Together, these elements create a body centred trauma-informed method that promotes strength, regulation, and healing — helping you feel more present, more powerful, and more at home in your body.

Variety of Practices

At Knockout Ladies, we believe true empowerment comes from a multidisciplinary approach — training the body, calming the mind, regulating the nervous system, and connecting through community. With a wonderful team of female coaches, we bring the best of our experiences to the classes.

We offer a wide variety of classes and activities that support healing, strength, and expression:
 

Strength & HIIT — Build physical power, endurance, and confidence with functional strength and high-intensity intervals.
 

Power Boxing & Mindful Boxing — From speed and technique to emotional release and nervous system regulation, we use boxing as both a fitness tool and a healing practice.
 

Running Club — Get outside, clear your mind, and energize your body with guided group runs.
 

Dance Workshops — Move freely, sweat joyfully, and reconnect with your body through rhythm and expression.
 

Community Events — From movie nights, nature walks and dancing to artsy days and group activities, we create space for connection, creativity, and fun.
 

This is not just a gym. It’s a space to grow stronger in every way — physically, emotionally, and socially.
